Association between homocysteine and obesity: A meta-analysis
The Epidemiology of Chronic Diseases (EpiDoC) cohort study, which included 10,153 Portuguese adults, employed cluster analysis to identify two predominant dietary patterns: the meat-based diet pattern and the fruit and vegetable-based diet pattern. After adjusting for multiple confounding variables, the study revealed that men with lower levels of education were more likely to follow a meat-based dietary pattern, which was in turn associated with a higher likelihood of depressive symptoms (325)
