These include: Diacetyl: Linked to bronchiolitis obliterans (popcorn lung) Formaldehyde: A toxic chemical linked to airway irritation Acrolein: A chemical used in pesticides that can damage lung tissue and airways Acetaldehyde: Irritates airways and can cause inflammation Nitrosamines: Found in certain nicotine products and are associated with cancer risk Although levels vary across devices and brands, repeated inhalation and exposure to these substances can accelerate lung damage and contribute to COPD progression
The estimates for California and Michigan compare favorably to those computed by Lovenheim (2007), who estimated the home state price elasticity of -0.46 for California and -0.22 for Michigan
But the string also vibrates at exact multiples of that fundamental: 220, 330, 440, 550, 660, 770, 880 Hz, etc
